Display Fax Function
You can set the machine to display the Fax function on the Main Menu screen. If you want the fax function to be displayed on the Main Menu screen, you can select whether or not to display the fax function in [Scan and Send]. By displaying the fax function in [Scan and Send], you can send to various destinations using different sending methods, such as e-mail and I-fax, at the same time.

Press

Press [Preferences] → [Display Settings] → [Display Fax Function].

Press [On] → [OK].
Press [Off] if you do not want to display the Fax function on the Main Menu screen.
If you set <Enable Fax in Scan and Send Function> to 'On', the Fax function appears in [Scan and Send].

Settings specified from the control panel become effective after the machine is restarted, after the procedure. If <Perform Apply Setting Changes from Settings/Regist.> is displayed on the bottom of the touch panel display, you can press [Apply Set. Chng.] in
(Settings/Registration) to restart the machine. For information on restarting the machine using the main power switch, see "How to Turn On the Main Power." |
