If a Power Failure Occurs

The machine cannot be used while the power supply is cut off.
The fax function during a power failure:
Documents cannot be sent or received.
You may not be able to make a call using the external telephone, depending on your telephone system.
You may be able to answer a call using the external telephone, depending on your telephone system.
IMPORTANT
Data storage when power supply is cut off:
Even if power is lost due to a power failure or accidental unplugging, any sent or received documents stored in the memory are backed up for approximately 5 minutes. To store document in the memory, the machine's built-in battery must be charged for more than 6 hours. (The machine's power switch has to be turned ON for more than 24 hours.)
