If you select [Quality] tab → [Advanced Settings] → [Host Side Rasterization] → [On], print data is processed mainly by the printer driver, which increases the amount of time until the computer is free. If you want to free up the computer sooner, select [Host Side Rasterization] → [Off].

Print data is complicated and takes too much time to print

Select [Quality] tab → [Advanced Settings] → [Graphics Mode] → [Raster Mode], and make a test print in image mode. In image mode, because most of the print data is processed at the computer, the printing speed is dependent on the processing speed of the computer.

Some applications use EMF format data which cannot be processed by page printers. In such cases, select [Finishing] tab → [Advanced Settings] → [EMF Spooling] → [Off].
