Print Job Results Unsatisfactory

Page layout is not correct
If the printer cannot print in the position you specified, or if the print data is cropped, check the following points:
Is the document printed in the printable area?
Some software applications may allow you to enter print text and graphics outside the printable area. However, print data beyond the boundaries of the printable area of the printer will not print.
Does the [Output Size] setting in the [Basic Settings] or [Page Setup] tab match the actual size of the paper loaded in the printer feed source?
If the driver setting and the actual printed paper size do not match, printing cannot be performed correctly.
Is [Manual Scaling] selected in the [Basic Settings] or [Page Setup] tab?
When [Manual Scaling] is selected, you can enlarge or reduce the size of the printout as desired. Check the size of the paper and the magnification ratio.
Is the setting for [Basic Settings]/[Finishing] tab → [Binding Location] → [Gutter Settings] too large?
If the gutter setting is too large, the portion of the print data opposite the gutter may not be printed.
Printer fonts will not print
Printer fonts cannot be used when [Quality] tab → [Advanced Settings] → [Graphics Mode] → [Raster Mode] is selected. Select [Graphics Mode] → [LIPS Mode].
Part of the printout does not match what you see on the screen
Some software applications use logical images that page printers with super-imposition functions cannot process. In such cases, in the [Quality] tab, click [Advanced Settings] → select [Raster Mode] from [Graphics Mode].
The printed result is cropped
Check the following.
Do the margin settings in the application exceed the printable area of the printer?
The printer can print no closer than 5 mm from the edge of the page (10 mm for envelopes) in all directions.
Have you printed data over the entire page, with no margins?
Check the following.
Check the margin settings of the print data, and reprint.
Set a magnification in [Page Setup] tab → [Manual Scaling] that ensures no print data will be cropped, and reprint.
If you are printing envelopes, the space for the postal code etc. may be less than 10 mm from the edge of the envelope. If so, set [Basic Settings]/[Finishing] tab → [Binding Location] → [Gutter] so that the entire printing area is shifted to where you want to print the postal code etc. However, print quality within the 10 mm range is not guaranteed.
