Support has been added for IEEE 802.1X communication during wireless LAN connection, as well as security compatible with IEEE 802.1X communication (WPA-EAP, WPA2-EAP).

Registering user information to a local device
A function has been added enabling you to configure e-mail addresses to link with Google Cloud Print.
Linking Department ID Management to authentication
A function has been added enabling automatic allocation of a Department ID when you register/edit a user via the Remote UI.
User settings for Google Cloud Print
A function has been added enabling you to import a CSV file for linking Google Cloud Print e-mail addresses with user information.
Authentication settings for general users
A function has been added enabling users without administrator privileges to specify their own e-mail addresses in their user accounts via the Remote UI.
Encryption algorithm settings
A function has been added to the TLS settings which enables you to specify the encryption algorithm to use.
Restricting the use of encryption algorithms
A setting has been added to the IPSec policy settings which enables you to restrict key length to 256 bit only.
Disabling certificate confirmation for an IEEE 802.1X authentication server
A function has been added enabling you to disable certificate confirmation for authentication servers using IEEE 802.1X, for use in user environments where performing a certificate check with a CA certificate results in an error.
Operational conditions for holding/printing/deleting documents
A function has been added enabling you to set either a value specified for the operation target of conditions for holding/printing/deleting documents, or one not specified.
Settings for automatic export of audit logs
A function has been added enabling automatic exporting of audit logs to a specified folder at a predetermined time each day, or when the number of audit logs exceeds the maximum number.
Addition of a device server data replication function
A function has been added which enables you to periodically copy the synchronization data stored on the server machine to a Canon multifunction printer.

<TLS Settings>
A function has been added which enables you to specify the TLS version and encryption algorithm to use.
<TCP/IP Option Settings>
A function has been added which enables you to specify the TCP option window scale and MTU size.
<Job List Display Settings>
A function has been added which enables you to specify the job types to be included
in the job list for the Forced Hold jobs, and the list to be displayed by default.
<Held Jobs Warning Settings>
A function has been added which displays a warning for jobs which are color/1-sided/in excess of the specified page number (in the job list/when printing).
<Use DNS Caching>
A function has been added which enables you to specify whether to save DNS information from successful searches via a MEAP application to memory, as well as specify an expiration date when choosing to save information temporarily.

Appendix
Addition of an encryption method for Kerberos authentication
AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) 256 bit encryption has been added to the encryption methods available for use when authenticating with Active Directory.

A function has been added enabling you to release the most recently-used address when the address cannot be acquired from the DHCP server.

Only highly-secure methods are now available for <DH Group> in <IKE Settings>.

<Verify Authentication Server Certificate>
A function has been added which enables you to verify certificates from an authentication server.

WPA/WPA2-EAP have been added to <Security Settings> in <Wireless LAN Settings>.
<PCL6 (V4)>
PCL6 (V4) has been added to the setting values for <PDL Selection (Plug and Play)>.
<Job List Display Settings>
A function has been added which enables you to specify the job types to be included
in the job list for the Forced Hold jobs, and the list to be displayed by default.
<Held Jobs Warning Settings>
A function has been added which displays a warning if the specified number of pages to print is exceeded, or 1-sided printing/color printing is selected.
<Clear Local Storage>
A function has been added enabling you to clear the local storage information.

Improvements to character input operations via the Remote Operation Viewer
