Returning and Transferring Licenses

If you have not yet decided on the destination computer for migration, return the license.

If the destination computer has already been decided, you can specify the destination and transfer the license. If after returning the license there is a possibility that it may be authenticated on another computer before it is authenticated again, transfer the license.

In either case, the license information is temporarily transferred from the source computer to Canon's license servers, and then the license is authenticated again on the destination computer.

If you cannot connect the source computer to the Internet network, you can also return and transfer the license using another computer.
