DM Data Library Restrictions

A DM Data Library has the following restrictions.

Restrictions on Copying to Other Libraries

When copying documents from a DM Data Library to another library, the following restrictions apply to property information/memos/search indexes.

Other Libraries (Except DM Data Libraries)	Depending on the settings in the [File] menu > [Option] > [System Settings] > [Browser] > [Edit/Operation Documents] > [Copy the values of entries with matching property settings], copied as follows. When selected: Only property information with a name and type that matches the destination is copied. If memos can be used in the destination library, the memos are also copied. When not selected: Not copied.

Search Indexes

Search indexes are not copied, regardless of the type of destination library.

Restrictions on Copying Image Documents

When image documents (*.iwe) are copied from a DM Data Library to another library, they are converted to PDF documents. Annotations inserted from Document Manager are also converted to a format that can be displayed with Desktop Editor.

Vertical Text	Text is rotated 90 degrees.
Rectangle	The size may change slightly.
Memo	The position of the text may move slightly to the right. The thickness of frames increases/decreases according to the magnification factor.

NOTE
The size and layout of text in annotations may differ when displayed in Document Manager and Desktop Editor. In Document Manager, text extruding from the area of the set annotations is not displayed. However, when text extruding from the area of the set annotations is included in image documents copied from the DM Data Library, some of the text extruding from the area of the annotations is displayed in Desktop Editor.

NOTE

The size and layout of text in annotations may differ when displayed in Document Manager and Desktop Editor.

In Document Manager, text extruding from the area of the set annotations is not displayed. However, when text extruding from the area of the set annotations is included in image documents copied from the DM Data Library, some of the text extruding from the area of the annotations is displayed in Desktop Editor.

Search Function Restrictions

Search results may differ when searching a cabinet in Document Manager and searching a DM Data Library in Desktop, even if the same search conditions are used. This is because the type of property information that can be set in the documents differs.

When documents are copied from a DM Data Library to another library, search results may differ even if the same search conditions are used, because search indexes set in Document Manager are not copied.
