Adjusting Speed of Paper Conveyance Before Fixation
If problems such as poor print quality or paper jams occur with long sheets, adjust the speed of paper conveyance before the fixation area. Doing so may improve the situation.

This setting affects how the paper is conveyed inside the machine. Making a large adjustment suddenly may become a cause of paper jams. Start with a small adjustment and increase the amount of adjustment gradually.
Depending on the type of print quality problem, related items may need to be adjusted at the same time. For details, see “When Images Like These are Output on Long Sheets”.
