Modifying/Repairing Using the Customized Installer

To correctly modify/repair Desktop when it has been installed with a customized installer, it is necessary to use the same customized installer used during installation.
1.
Prepare the installer used to install Desktop.
2.
Start Windows and log in to the system as a user with Administrator privileges.
3.
Use the command prompt to specify the file path to "setup.exe" and execute a modification/repair.
Example) For 32-bit operating systems
Start the command prompt and enter the following.
(Path to the folder that the installer was placed in)\32bit\setup.exe /i
Desktop Setup Wizard is started.
In the [Program Maintenance], you can select [Change] or [Repair].
You can also enter the following to directly start the repair mode of the program.
(Path to the folder that the installer was placed in)\32bit\setup.exe /f
NOTE
In the above example, the final "/i" refers to the regular installation mode and "/f" refers to starting the installer in the repair mode. For information on the method for handling the Desktop installer using the command prompt, see the following.
During the repair installation, [Enter network credentials] may be displayed.
If the same screen is displayed again even if the entered user name and password are valid, it is necessary to assign the domain name and computer name of the Run As Account.
