Uninstallation Using a Customized Installer

To correctly uninstall Desktop when it has been installed with a customized installer, it is necessary to use the same customized installer used during installation.
1.
Prepare the installer used to install Desktop.
2.
Start Windows and log in to the system as a user with Administrator privileges.
3.
Use the command prompt to specify the file path to "setup.exe" and execute an uninstallation.
Example) For 32-bit operating systems
Start the command prompt and enter the following.
(Path to the folder that the installer was placed in)\32bit\setup.exe /x
NOTE
In the above example, the final "/x" refers to starting the installer in the uninstallation mode. The method for handling the Desktop installer using the command prompt is described in the following section.
