Confirming Desktop Settings

When Desktop is installed on the computer in which uniFLOW Client is installed, [uniFLOW] output button is displayed on the output bar, which enables collaboration with uniFLOW.

The procedure for confirming the Desktop settings is indicated below.

NOTE
To link with uniFLOW, specify settings for using Desktop on the uniFLOW side in advance. This procedure is only required at the first time using the Desktop and uniFLOW collaboration.

Install Desktop to the computer in which uniFLOW Client is installed.

NOTE
For information on installing Desktop, see the iW Desktop Installation Guide.

Select the [Start] menu > [All Programs] > [Canon iW Desktop] > [iW Desktop].

Desktop Browser starts and [uniFLOW] output button is displayed in the output bar.

The uniFLOW hot folder and Desktop hot folder are created automatically.

NOTE
For Windows 8.1, click > [iW Desktop] on the [Start] screen. For Windows 10, select the [Start] menu > [Canon iW Desktop] > [iW Desktop]. If the [uniFLOW] output button is not displayed in Desktop, confirm the following. If uniFLOW Client is not installed, install it. If Document Monitor has not been restarted after installing uniFLOW, restart it. Desktop can register up to 20 output buttons in the output bar. When 20 output buttons are already registered, new output buttons cannot be added.

NOTE

For Windows 8.1, click

> [iW Desktop] on the [Start] screen.

For Windows 10, select the [Start] menu > [Canon iW Desktop] > [iW Desktop].

If the [uniFLOW] output button is not displayed in Desktop, confirm the following.

If uniFLOW Client is not installed, install it.

If Document Monitor has not been restarted after installing uniFLOW, restart it.

Desktop can register up to 20 output buttons in the output bar. When 20 output buttons are already registered, new output buttons cannot be added.
