Starting and Exiting Desktop Browser

This section describes how to start and exit Desktop Browser.

Starting the Desktop Browser

1.
Select the [Start] menu > [All Programs] > [Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop] > [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop].
Double-click the shortcut icon for [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop] on the desktop of Windows.
NOTE
For Windows 8.1, click > [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop] in the [Start] screen.
For Windows 10, select the [Start] menu > [Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop] > [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop].
The shortcut for [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop] is automatically created during installation.
When starting for the first time, a Personal Library is automatically created.

Exiting Desktop Browser

1.
Click (Close) in Desktop Browser.
Or select the [File] menu > [Exit].

Starting and Exiting Desktop Editor

This section describes how to start and exit Desktop Editor.

Starting the Desktop Editor

1.
Select the document in Desktop Browser.
2.
Click the [Print Settings] output button.
NOTE
You can also start Desktop Editor by performing one of the following operations.
Select the [Start] menu > [All Programs] > [Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop] > [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop Editor]
Double-click on the shortcut icon for [iR-ADV Desktop Editor] on the desktop of Windows

Exiting Desktop Editor

1.
Click (Close) in Desktop Editor.
Or select the [File] menu > [Exit].
NOTE
If [Checked Out Document Confirmation]/[Modify Shared Document] is displayed after you saved a document, select an appropriate update process and then click [OK].
