When Images Like These are Output on Long Sheets

If outputs resembling examples shown in this section are produced repeatedly, see the relevant section in this manual as referred, and configure settings as appropriate. When making changes to the settings, be sure to read the important notes.

Cause
Paper feeding speed at the secondary transfer section is inappropriate.

Increasing the paper realignment speed may improve the situation. Increase the speed by: Press   [Preferences]  [Paper Settings]  [Paper Type Management Settings]  select the problematic paper type  [Details/Edit]  [Change] for <Adj. Paper Realignment Speed>.
Decreasing the fixing speed may improve the situation. Decrease the speed by: Press   [Preferences] [Paper Settings]  [Paper Type Management Settings]  select the problematic paper type  [Details/Edit]  [Change] for <Adjust Fixing Speed>.
[Paper with High Basis Weight and High Strength]
Increasing the fixing speed may improve the situation. Increase the speed by: Press   [Preferences]  [Paper Settings]  [Paper Type Management Settings]  select the problematic paper type  [Details/Edit]  [Change] for <Adjust Fixing Speed>.
