Adjusting the Secondary Transfer Voltage

When image blurring occurs on the custom paper type more obviously than standard paper types, you can adjust the Secondary Transfer Voltage. If you use the Paper Database to perform Paper Settings, the adjusted value of the Secondary Transfer Voltage (the voltage that transfers toner to the paper) suitable for each paper is used as an initial setting value.
IMPORTANT
If the printout is unsatisfactory due to paper/printing conditions, we recommend that you perform [Adj. Secondary Transfer Volt.].
This function is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if this function is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
NOTE
Adjusting the Secondary Transfer Voltage may affect the settings in [Adjust ITB Image Clearing], [Corr. Tail End Toner Applic.], and [Adjust Image Position]. Readjust these settings, if necessary.
