Color/Black and White Priority for First Print Time
You can set whether priority is given to color or black-and-white printing for the first print time.

This function is displayed only if the settings are made available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if this function is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer. |

Press [Adjustment/Maintenance] → [Adjust Action] → [Color/B&W Priority for First Print Time].

Select [Color Priority] or [Black & White Priority] → press [OK].
NOTE |
The settings are only effective after the first job is processed and you have restarted the machine (by turning the main power switch OFF and then ON again). For instructions on restarting (turning the main power switch OFF and then ON) the machine, see "How to Turn ON the Main Power." |
