Using the TLS

You can use TLS communication when a MEAP application is used by accessing the machine via a Web browser.

Press

Press [Management Settings] → [License/Other] → [MEAP Settings].

Press [Use TLS] → [On] → [OK].

Press [Off] to not use TLS communication.

NOTE
Before setting [Use TLS] to 'On', it is necessary to set a default key in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration). (See "Settings for Utilizing TLS.") Any changes made are also applied to <Use TLS> in [Remote UI] in [Management Settings] (Settings/Registration). (See "Remote UI.") Changes are only effective after you restart the machine (the main power switch is turned OFF, and then back ON). For instruction on restarting (turning the main power switch OFF and then ON) the machine, see "Before You Start Using This Machine."
