Front Cover of the Multi-drawer Paper Deck-C (Optional)
This section describes how to clear a paper jam which occurs in the front cover of the Multi-drawer Paper Deck-C. The location of the Multi-drawer Paper Deck-C is indicated in the following illustration.
NOTE |

Follow the procedure described below, while referring to the location of the paper jam and the directions that appear on the touch panel display, to remove the jammed paper.
1.
Close the cover that is open.
 CAUTION |
When closing the cover, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury. |
2.
Open the front cover of the Multi-drawer Paper Deck-C.
3.
Remove any jammed paper from the guide (D-A1).
4.
Turn the dial (D-A2), and remove any jammed paper.
 | 1. Turn the dial (D-A2) in the direction of the arrow (counterclockwise). |
2. Remove any jammed paper. |
| CAUTION |
When turning the dial, do not insert your fingers into the space between the dial and gear as your fingers may get caught, which may result in personal injury. |
5.
Remove any jammed paper from the guide (D-A3).
6.
Turn the dial (D-A4), and remove any jammed paper.
 | 1. Turn the dial (D-A4) in the direction of the arrow (counterclockwise). |
2. Remove any jammed paper. |
7.
Close the guide (D-A3).

8.
Close the guide (D-A1).
| CAUTION |
When closing the guide, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury. |
9.
Remove any jammed paper from the guide (D-B1).
10.
Turn the dial (D-B2), and remove nay jammed paper.
 | 1. Turn the dial (D-B2) in the direction of the arrow (counterclockwise). |
2. Remove any jammed paper. |
11.
Close the guide (D-B1).

When closing the guide, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury. |
12.
Close the front cover of the Multi-drawer Paper Deck-C.
| CAUTION |
When closing the cover, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury. |
13.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
NOTE |
The screen indicating the directions on how to clear the paper jam is displayed repeatedly until the paper jam is cleared. |
