Installing the Scanner Driver (USB Version)
This explains the procedure for installing the scanner driver.
To use the scanner, you need to connected to a computer via a USB cable during the installation procedure.
Prerequisites
For information on the system requirements, see the Readme for the USB version of the scanner driver.
For information on installation preparations and precautions, see the Readme for the USB version of the scanner driver.
When starting the computer, log on as a user with administrator privileges.
Make sure to remove the USB cable from the device and computer in advance.
Procedures
1.
Start the installer downloaded from the web site.
Double-click the downloaded file to decompress it. If the installer does not start automatically after it is decompressed, double-click [Setup.exe] in the [misc] folder.

Click [OK].
3.
Connect the device and computer with a USB cable.
If a message is displayed prompting you to restart your computer, follow the instructions in the message.
