Uninstalling the Scanner Driver
This explains the procedure for uninstalling the scanner driver.
There are two methods for uninstalling: using the uninstallation function of Windows, and using the installer.
Prerequisites
When starting the computer, log on as a user with administrator privileges.
Procedures
To Uninstall Using Windows Functions
1.
Display [Apps] (or [System]) > [Installed apps] (or [Apps & features]) from [
Settings] in the Start menu.

Click [⋯] for [Color Network ScanGear 2] (or select [Color Network ScanGear 2]) → click [Uninstall].
To Uninstall Using the Installer
1.
Start the installer of the driver.
2.
Click [Next] in the start uninstallation screen.
3.
Click [Close].
If a message is displayed prompting you to restart your computer, following the instructions in the message.
