Optional Equipment

The Booklet Trimmer-F and Two-Knife Booklet Trimmer-A trim the fore edge and top/bottom of saddle stitched copies for neat output.

The Saddle Finisher-AN is equipped with the following features: Collate, Group, Staple (Corner, Double, and Saddle Stitch), and Saddle Fold.

The Staple-P1 can be attached to the Saddle Finisher-AN for saddle stitching.

If the Paper Folding Unit-J is attached to the Finisher-AN or Saddle Finisher-AN, the paper can be folded in 5 different ways (Z-Fold, Half Fold, C-Fold, Accordion Z-Fold, and Double Parallel Fold).

The High Capacity Stacker-H enables you to continuously stack a large amount of paper. Up to two stackers can be attached to the machine.

The Perfect Binder-E is equipped with the following features: book binding, gluing, trimming, and stacking.

The Multi Function Professional Puncher-B punches several types of hole. The paper can be creased to be saddle folded easily by changing the die. For more information on the Multi Function Professional Puncher-B, see the instruction manual of the Multi Function Professional Puncher-B.

If the Document Insertion Unit-N is attached, a different type of paper from the body of the document can be inserted for a cover or insert.

Originals placed in the feeder are automatically fed sheet by sheet to the platen glass for scanning. You can scan documents such as books, thick originals, thin originals, and transparencies on the platen glass of the Duplex Color Image Reader Unit-M.

The Upright Control Panel-F includes the keys, touch panel display, and indicators required for operating the machine. (See "Control Panel (Upright Control Panel-F) Parts and Functions.")

If the POD Deck-D is attached, it can provide three additional paper sources. Up to 1,000 sheets of paper (80 g/m2) each can be loaded into the upper and middle decks, and up to 2,000 sheets of paper (80 g/m2) can be loaded into the lower deck of the POD Deck-D.

If the Secondary POD Deck-D is attached to the POD Deck-D , it can provide three additional paper sources. (A total of six paper sources ) The Secondary POD Deck-D holds up to 1,000 sheets of paper (80 g/m2) each can be loaded into the upper and middle decks, and up to 2,000 sheets of paper (80 g/m2) can be loaded into the lower deck of the Secondary POD Deck-D.

If the Perfect Binder Continuous Kit-A is attached to the Perfect Binder-E, paper output can be performed at any time.

Attach the POD Buffer Unit-A to the POD Deck-D to attach the external paper source.

15.

The external paper source enables continuous feeding of long sheets.

Use the Long Sheet Tray-D to feed paper manually.

If the POD Deck Lite-C is attached, it can provide an additional paper source. The POD Deck Lite-C holds up to 3,500 sheets of paper (80 g/m2).

Attach the Tab Feeding Attachment-E to load tab paper into the paper decks of this machine.

The POD Deck Lite XL-A holds up to 3,500 sheets of plain paper (80 g/m2) or 1,000 sheets of long sheet paper (80 g/m2).

Use the Finisher Bridge-A as a bridge to connect the Finisher-AN/Saddle Finisher-AN to the DFD Adapter-A.

Use the DFD Adapter-A to connect external finishers.

Various types of external finishers can be attached by connecting to the DFD Adapter-A.

Attach the Long Sheet Tray-C to the Finisher-AN/Saddle Finisher-AN.

The Staple-N1 can be attached to the Finisher-AN or Saddle Finisher-AN for stapling (Corner and Double).

The Puncher Unit-BS/Puncher Unit-BT/Puncher Unit-BU is equipped with the Hole Punch mode. The Puncher Unit-BS/Puncher Unit-BT/Puncher Unit-BU can be attached only if the Finisher-AN or Saddle Finisher-AN is attached.

The Finisher Long Sheet Catch Tray-A is attached to the Finisher-AN/Saddle Finisher-AN. You can use this with the paper whose length for the feeding direction is longer than 762 mm. You can load a paper up to 300 sheets for paper shorter than 762 mm, 10 sheets for paper of 763 mm to 1,300 mm.

The Booklet Trimmer-F trims the fore edge of saddle stitched copies for neat output. Also, the waste container can be emptied while the machine is in operation.
