Long Sheet Tray-D (Optional)
This section describes how to clear a paper jam which occurs in the Long Sheet Tray-D. The location of the Long Sheet Tray-D is indicated in the following illustration.
NOTE |
The following illustration indicates the location of the paper jam. Please refer to it to remove the jammed paper.  *1 Lower extension supply tray *2 Inside the cover of the Long Sheet Tray-D Long Sheet Tray-D is an optional product. |
Follow the procedure described below, while referring to the location of the paper jam and the directions that appear on the touch panel display, to remove the jammed paper.
1.
Lift up the upper extension supply tray.
2.
Remove any jammed paper from the tray.
3.
Place back the upper extension supply tray.
4.
Press the open lever to open Long Sheet Tray-D.
IMPORTANT |
Be sure that there are no people or objects in the way when opening Long Sheet Tray-D. |
5.
Remove any jammed paper inside the marking engine.
6.
Close the Long Sheet Tray-D.
 CAUTION |
When closing the Long Sheet Tray-D, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury. |
7.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
NOTE |
The screen indicating the directions on how to clear the paper jam is displayed repeatedly until the paper jam is cleared. |
