Specifying a PS Password
You can specify the password that restricts the use of the control command prepared by the PS printer.

[SystemParamsPassword] is a password that allows changes to the system parameter, and [StartJobPassword] is a password that allows startjob, exitserver operator to perform. For more information, check PostScript language specifications. |
1.
Press 
(Settings/Registration).
(Settings/Registration).2.
Press [Function Settings] → [Printer] → [PS Password Settings].

Press [SystemParamsPassword] or [StartJobPassword] → enter each password.
If [StartJobPassword] is set but [SystemParamsPassword] is not set, password check will not be performed while performing startjob, exitserver operator.
Press [OK] → enter the same password to confirm that you have not incorrectly entered the password.

Press [OK].
