Setting the Print Operation When the Pressure Roller for Fixing Is at High Temperature

Productivity decreases when the pressure roller for fixing exceeds a certain temperature because the machine waits until the temperature drops. This setting enables that standby time to be reduced in order to prioritize productivity.

Select the print operation Press <OK>.
The standby time becomes the shortest when <Productivity Priority 1> is set.
The standby time becomes shorter when <Productivity Priority 1> or <Productivity Priority 2> is set. However, problems may occur when switching from a smaller paper size to a larger paper size, such as the toner on both ends of the paper being transferred to other paper or paper jams in the fixing unit.
