Instellingen via de FTP-client opgeven
U kunt instellingen opgeven, zoals de netwerkinstellingen van het apparaat, vanaf een FTP-client via een TCP/IP netwerk. Controleer vooraf het IP-adres dat op het apparaat is ingesteld (Statusafdruk netwerk). Als u twijfels hebt over het IP-adres, neem dan contact op met de netwerkbeheerder.

Start [Opdrachtprompt].
Open het menu [Starten] en selecteer [Alle programma's] of [Programma's]

Typ 'ftp <IP-adres van de printer>' en druk op de toets [ENTER].
Bijvoorbeeld: ftp 192.168.1.45

Voer 'root' in voor de gebruikersnaam en druk op toets [ENTER].

Voer het wachtwoord van de systeembeheerder in en druk op toets [ENTER].
Het standaardwachtwoord is '7654321'. Het wachtwoord van de systeembeheerder instellen
'230 User root logged in.' ('230 Gebruiker root ingelogd.') verschijnt.

Voer 'cd config' in en druk op de toets [ENTER].

Voer 'get CONFIG <bestandsnaam>' in en druk op de toets [ENTER].
'CONFIG' moet in hoofdletters.
Alle tekens kunnen worden gebruikt in <bestandsnaam> (voorbeeld: get CONFIG Instelling.txt).
Het instelbestand wordt opgehaald en in de map geplaatst die verschijnt als de opdrachtprompt is gestart. In een schermvoorbeeld wordt het document opgehaald en in de map 'USER_NAME' in [Gebruikers] op station C: geplaatst.

Bewerk het configuratiebestand in Kladblok of een vergelijkbare teksteditor.

Voer 'put <bestandsnaam> CONFIG' in en druk op de toets [ENTER].
Geef de bewerkte bestandsnaam in in <bestandsnaam> (voorbeeld: put Instelling.txt CONFIG).
Het instelbestand is geüpload.

Voer 'reset ontvangen' in druk op de toets [ENTER].
Het apparaat wordt opnieuw gestart. De instellingen worden ingeschakeld nadat het apparaat opnieuw is gestart.

Bevestig dat het apparaat opnieuw is gestart, druk u op de toets [C] terwijl u de toets [Ctrl] ingedrukt houdt.

Voer 'quit' (afsluiten) in en druk op de toets [ENTER].

Voer 'exit' (verlaten) in en druk op de toets [ENTER].
De opdrachtprompt wordt gesloten.
