Stopping Enterprise Management Console V3.x

When installing Enterprise Management Console V4.x to the computer where Enterprise Management Console V3.x was operating, stop the operation of Enterprise Management Console V3.x before installing Enterprise Management Console V4.x.
1.
Log on to the computer where Enterprise Management Console V3.x is running as a user with Administrator privileges.

Stop the services of Enterprise Management Console V3.x.
Stop the following services in [Administrative Tools] - [Services] in Windows.
Canon imageWARE Enterprise Management Console Install Assist Service
Canon imageWARE Enterprise Management Console Task Scheduler

If the HTTP and HTTPS port numbers to use with Enterprise Management Console V4.x are the same as those used with Enterprise Management Console V3.x, stop the Enterprise Management Console V3.x system.
Select [Administrative Tools] - [Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager] in Windows.
Click [Sites] - [Default Web Site] - [iWEMC] in [Connections].
Double-click [Handler Mappings] in [IIS].
Click [Edit Feature Permissions] in [Actions].
Deselect [Script], and click [OK].
NOTE
If the HTTP and HTTPS port numbers to use with Enterprise Management Console V4.x differ from those used with Enterprise Management Console V3.x, the operation in step 3 is not required before installing Enterprise Management Console V4.x. By setting the system to the started state, Enterprise Management Console V4.x can be configured while viewing the screens of Enterprise Management Console V3.x. When migration to Enterprise Management Console V4.x is complete, stop the system.
