Configuring DNS

When using the machine in an environment with Domain Name System (DNS), configure the DNS server information and DHCP option settings.
In an environment without DNS, you can configure multicast DNS (mDNS) to use the DNS function. mDNS is used by Bonjour and other software.
This section describes how to configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.
On the operation panel, select [Menu] in the [Home] screen, and then select [Preferences] to configure the settings. You cannot use the operation panel to configure some of the settings. [TCP/IP Settings]
Administrator privileges are required. Depending on the item to be configured, you may have to restart the machine.
