在處置使用過的碳粉匣時
為保護環境且更有效地利用資源，Canon提倡回收及循環再用使用過的碳粉匣。請配合進行碳粉匣回收（資源再利用）。關於資源再利用的詳情，請參閱Canon網站：

在處置碳粉匣時，請將其用原外包裝包好以防止碳粉散開，然後按照當地政府指示進行處置。
安裝
如果發現在某些操作模式下或因環境而導致機器操作出現噪音，建議將本機放在遠離辦公室的其他位置。
如果機器安裝所在的房間快速變熱，或者將機器從陰涼乾燥之處移動至溫暖潮濕的地方，則機器內部可能出現水滴（冷凝）。在這些情況下使用機器可能導致出現夾紙、列印品質欠佳或故障等問題。在使用之前請讓機器先適應環境溫度和濕度至少兩小時。
在高海拔地區使用（海拔3,000公尺或更高）時，帶有硬碟等儲存裝置的機器可能不會正常執行。
