Selecting Productivity Priority/Image Quality Priority of a Job with a Mixed Paper Types

You can specify productivity priority or image quality priority for a job with mixed paper types.
Users other than the administrators should not change the settings. For instructions on changing the settings, contact your dealer or service representative.

Press (Settings/Registration) <Adjustment/Maintenance> <Adjust Image Quality> <Settings for Mixed Paper Type Printing>.

Select productivity priority or image quality priority press <OK>.
When <Productivity Priority> is selected:
Select <Higher Spd. for Each Ppr. Type> or <Fixed Adj. for Each Ppr. Type>.
<Higher Spd. for Each Ppr. Type>: Depending on paper types used in a job, a print speed and a fixing temperature suitable for each paper type in the job are specified to minimize the print speed of the whole job
<Fixed Adj. for Each Ppr. Type>: A print speed and a fixing temperature designated for each paper type are specified.
When <Quality Priority> is selected:
Select <Faster Printing for Thin/Plain> or <Same Print Spd. as for Heavy>.
<Faster Printing for Thin/Plain>: A print speed and a fixing temperature which prioritize image quality are specified for thin paper and plain paper respectively
<Same Print Spd. as for Heavy>: A print speed and a fixing temperature for thick paper which prioritizes image quality are specified throughout a job
