Special Smoothing
This setting smoothes jagged outlines of dark color characters, lines, figures, photos, images, and gradations by correcting color displacement that occurs in the output.

<Adjustment/Maintenance> <Adjust Image Quality> <Special Smoothing>.
(Settings/Registration) <Adjustment/Maintenance> <Adjust Image Quality> <Special Smoothing>.2
Press <On> <OK>.
<OK>.Press <Off> if you do not want to perform special smoothing.
Make sure to set this settings to <Off> when you do not perform the correction. Depending on the types of originals, this function may cause other color displacement or jagged outlines.
