Checking the Printing Status and History

You can check the wait status for print jobs and whether or not an error has occurred during printing. Operations such as printing the document ahead of other documents and temporarily suspending or canceling printing are possible as well.
When personal authentication management is used, you can restrict users from performing operations on the jobs of other users on the <Status Monitor> screen. <Restrict Access to Other User Jobs>
Press  (Status Monitor).
Press <Job>  <Job Status>.
To display only the documents to be printed, select <Print> from the drop-down list in the upper-right of the screen.
Check the status.
Pressing <Details> after selecting a document, enables you to cancel printing, to check the status of the job, etc.
Pressing <Cancel> after selecting a document, enables you to cancel printing.
When pressing <Interrupt/Priority Print> after selecting a document, <Interrupt and Print> and <Priority Print> appear. Press <Interrupt and Print> to suspend a print job in process and immediately start printing the document selected. Press <Priority Print> to jump the selected document to the top of the waiting list, and print it after printing the print job in progress.
To ignore an error and continue printing, press <Details>  select a document  <Skip Error>.
To forcibly print any unprinted job in the machine, press <Details>  select a document  <Paper Feed>.
You cannot interrupt an interrupt print job with another job. If you try to interrupt an interrupt print job, the job is started after the current interrupt job is complete.

Confirming Prints during Printing

This mode enables you to output the entire print set or a single page to another output tray while printing a copy job. This mode is useful when you want to check the output several times while making a large amount of copies.
<Proof Print> appears while you are making multiple copies in the Collate, Offset, or Staple mode.
<Proof Print> can be used when the "Staple Finisher-AG," the "Booklet Finisher-AG," or the "High Capacity Stacker-J" is attached.
Press <Proof Print> on the Status Monitor/Cancel screen.
The Proof Print mode can also be used on the Status Monitor/Cancel screen.
Select <All Pages> or <1 Page (Random)>  press <Start Printing>.
<All Pages>:

<1 Page (Random)>:
Prints a page which follows by the currently printing page. One sheet of paper, which includes one page when performing 1-sided printing, and two pages when performing 2-sided printing, is output.
Check the output sample.
Check the sample that is output to another output tray.
When proof printing is complete, the machine automatically resumes the job. If you need to adjust the settings, press <Cancel> or  (Stop) and then make a necessary adjustment.
You cannot select <Proof Print> for the following jobs.
A job to which the Group or Offset Group mode is set
A job which is waiting to be copied or paused
A job which is currently interrupt copying
A job which is currently sample copying
A job which is currently proof printing
If the remaining copy is the last or nearly last, you cannot make proof print by selecting <All Pages>.
If the pages in one copy are few, you may not be able to make proof print by selecting <1 Page (Random)>.
It may take time to output even if you select <Proof Print>.
