This section describes the how to solve problems that occur while using the inspection system.
Paper Jams
If a paper jam occurs in the Inspection Unit
Refer to the following for details on how to clear the paper jam.
If a paper jam occurs other than in the Inspection Unit
Check the display on the printer or controller and clear the jammed paper. Refer to the respective instruction manuals for details.
If a paper jam occurs in a process after the Inspection Unit, the inspection cannot continue.
If a paper jam occurs in a process before the Inspection Unit, the inspection can be resumed after the paper jam has been handled. However, the inspection might not be able to continue depending on the conditions.
Examples:
If the page that the Inspection Tool is waiting to inspect differs from the page printed after resuming inspection
If you cannot continue the inspection, cancel the print job and execute the inspection again.
If the inspection result is defective due to streaks even though there are no problems in the output paper
If there are streaks in the master images
Clean the inside of the Inspection Unit. People who have received an explanation of the cleaning from your local authorized Canon dealer should perform the cleaning referring to the procedure guide provided at the time of the explanation.
Re-create the master images.

If this error occurs even after cleaning, there is a possibility that a problem has occurred in the Inspection Unit. Contact your local authorized Canon dealer. |
