This section describes the display settings.

<Button Display Order on Home Screen>

<Set>

You can rearrange the order in which the buttons appear on the <Home> screen. Customizing the <Home> Screen

<Default Screen After Startup/Restoration>

<Set>

You can set the default screen displayed at startup/restoration.

<Language>

<Set>

You can select the language displayed on the display.


Some messages may not be displayed properly in the selected language. In this case, restart the machine. Some messages may not change even after the machine is restarted.

<Millimeter/Inch Entry Switch>

<Set>

You can set whether to enter numeric values in millimeters or inches on the various numeric entry screens.

<Disp. Drum Cart. Lifetime End Error Msg.>

<Set>

You can set whether to display a message notifying the user when a drum cartridge is near the end of its life.

<Disp. Fix. Asmbl. Lifetime End Err. Msg.>

<Set>

You can set whether to display a message notifying the user when the fixing assembly is near the end of its life.

<Display ITB Unit Lifetime End Error Msg.>

<Set>

You can set whether to display a message notifying the user when the ITB unit is near the end of its life.

<IP Address Display Settings>

You can set whether to display the IP address on the <Status Monitor> screen.


This setting is only valid when <Use IPv4> is set to <On>.

<Display Icon Showing Remaining Toner>

<Set>

You can set whether to display an icon indicating the amount of toner remaining in the toner cartridge on the bottom right of the display.

<Display Mobile Portal>

You can set whether to display <Mobile Portal> on the <Home> screen.

<Timing of Toner Cart. Replacement Notif.>

<Set>

You can set the amount of toner remaining in the toner cartridge for displaying a message notifying the user that a toner cartridge will need to be replaced soon.

<Timing of Drum Cart. Replacement Notif.>

<Set>

You can set the amount of toner remaining in the drum cartridge for displaying a message notifying the user that a drum cartridge will need to be replaced soon.

<ITB Unit Replacement Notification>

<Set>

You can set whether to display a message notifying the user when the ITB unit is detected to be near the end of its life.

You can set whether to display a message notifying the user when the secondary transfer outer roller is detected to be near the end of its life.
