Security Settings Navigator

This machine provides various security functions.
These functions can be used to operate the machine more securely with security settings that suit your environment.
Simply by answering up to four questions, the Security Settings Navigator provides you with the recommended security settings for your environment and the steps for configuring them.
After configuring the initial settings as part of the machine installation, please use this Navigator to configure the security settings. It also enables you to smoothly change the machine to the appropriate settings when the usage environment changes.
The Security Settings Navigator categorizes usage environments into six types.

If you require more flexible security management than these generic security settings, use the more advanced security policy function. For information on the security policy function, see the manual for your machine.
* The security policy function cannot be used in conjunction with the Security Settings Navigator.

Use the version of Security Settings Navigator that supports the model of your machine.
