Replacing the Transfer Roller
Follow the procedure below to replace the transfer roller.

When replacing the transfer roller, take care not to allow toner to come into contact with your hands or clothing. If they become dirty, wash them immediately with cold water. |

Open the rear cover of the main unit.

Hold the light blue parts of the transfer roller, and pull them up to remove the transfer roller.

Take out the new transfer roller from its box, and remove the packing materials.
When touching the new transfer roller, make sure that you touch the light blue parts only. Do not directly touch the roller with your hands.

Holding the light blue parts of the new transfer roller, align the light blue parts with the grooves on the main unit, and push the light blue parts down to attach the new transfer roller.
Push in the transfer roller until it clicks into place.

Close the rear cover of the main unit.
