Adjust the time regularly when the clock is noticeably incorrect. You can also specify to automatically synchronize the date and time with a server on the network using SNTP.

Paper Type Management

The NOTE on <Adj. Fan Level for Paper Separation> has been changed (the description in the second bullet point has been deleted).


Follow the guidelines below to perform adjustment. <-5> to <-1>: Select when the moisture of the area where air from the fan hits becomes too low due to factors such as the weather conditions and the properties of the paper, and this causes high density images to not be printed evenly or curling to increase in the printed paper. <0>: The regular setting. <1> to <5>: Select when paper jams occur frequently or when using the machine in a high temperature and high humidity environment.

Regarding the paper fed from the POD Deck-F, if the printed image is skewed, the output paper is creased, or the lead edge/tail end of the paper is curled, you may be able to correct them by adjusting the setting value of the paper curve in paper units.


Users other than the administrators should not change the settings. For instructions on changing the settings, contact your dealer or service representative. To improve image skew, increase the setting value. To improve paper wrinkling, loop formation marks, or curling on the lead edge/tail end of the paper, decrease the setting value.

When <Windows (SMB)> is selected for the protocol, <Check Connection> can only check up to the first level of the specified folder path.

To specify a registered destination, press <Address Book>

You cannot specify a destination in <Personal Address List> or a destination in a user group address list as the forwarding destination.

Files in the PDF, TIFF, or JPEG format can be printed with a hot folder. Printing cannot be performed when the following security settings are set to <On>. Managing the Machine Managing Color Profiles

Important information has been added in step 5 in "Importing a Color Profile."

Only ICC version 2 color profiles are supported and can be imported. Even if a non-supported profile is imported and used, the profile is not applied.
