Notification of New and Enhanced Functions
This section describes added functions and other changes for Platform Version Ver. 2.0.2 or later.
Checking The Version
Depending on the model, you may not be able to apply the latest Platform Version. Use the procedure below to check the version before reading this section.

Changes to Functions
The following major functions have been added or changed.
You can now specify on the sending screen of <Scan and Send> to create another folder in a destination folder on a network and store a scanned document in the created folder.
You can now specify on <Scan and Send> and <Scan and Store> to delete a page which is recognized as blank from a scanned document during the scanning process before sending or storing it.
It is now necessary to enter the password when you want to change the server address of the POP server, the SMTP server, or the LDAP server.
The machine now supports the MEAP functions and you can use a MEAP application.
You can now specify which address book is displayed first when the Address Book is selected.
You can now enter the password for a held encrypted PDF document which is output from AirPrint and print it.
The function has been added to notify the user of a change in the network environment to which the machine is connected.
The machine now supports OAuth 2.0 and you can use a cloud mail server from Microsoft or Google.
You can now specify an alternative name for a certificate used on this machine.
The name of McAfee Embedded Control has been updated to Trellix Embedded Control.
The name of Azure Active Directory has been updated to Microsoft Entra ID.
