Turning ON the Machine

This section describes how to turn ON the machine.

Make sure that the power plug is firmly inserted into the power outlet.

Press the power switch.

The startup screen appears on the display.


You can select the screen displayed immediately after the machine is turned ON. <Default Screen After Startup/Restoration> The response of the keys on the control panel may not be optimal immediately after the machine is turned ON. If the machine is connected to a powered off Mac computer by USB cable, the computer may turn on automatically when this machine does. In this case, disconnect the USB cable from the machine. You may also be able to solve this problem by using a USB hub between the machine and the computer.
