PDL Selection (Plug and Play)

From the machine, you can specify functions suitable for the fax board or printer kit available for use in the machine.

From your computer, you can detect and install drivers that are compatible with the specified functions.

IMPORTANT
If the desired driver is not in your computer, detection and installation cannot be performed.

Press

(Settings/Register).

Press [Function Settings] → [Printer] → [PDL Selection (Plug and Play)].

Select the button → press [OK].

The appeared function buttons may differ, depending on the available functions.

NOTE
Settings specified from the control panel become effective after the machine is restarted, after the procedure. If <Perform Apply Setting Changes from Settings/Registration.> is displayed on the bottom of the touch panel display, you can press [Apply Set. Chng.] in /(Settings/Register) to restart the machine. For information on restarting the machine using the main power switch, see "User's Guide."
