Restricting Use of the Control Panel (Black and White LCD Model)
By disabling the control panel keys, you can prevent the settings of the machine from being changed.
To set Key Lock of the control panel, use Remote UI from a computer.

Log in to Remote UI in System Manager Mode. Starting Remote UI

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration]. Portal Page of Remote UI

Click [Device Management] 
[Key Lock Settings] [Edit...].
[Key Lock Settings] [Edit...].The [Edit Key Lock Settings] screen is displayed.

Select the [Enable Key Lock] checkbox, and click [OK].
The settings are applied.

Log out from Remote UI.

Even when Key Lock is enabled, you can use the  ,  , and  keys on the control panel. |
