Static Eliminator-A

The Static Eliminator-A, that is attached to the machine, may be able to remove static from paper so that on a paper output area, it may prevent sheets of paper from sticking together or it may help sheets of output paper aligned more neatly.
This document provides the names and functions of all the parts of the Static Eliminator-A, describes each function, gives instructions for clearing paper jams, and lists the Static Eliminator-A specifications.

Depending on the Platform Version of the Static Eliminator that you are using, the operations to remove static are different. Select the removal operation that are appropriate for the Platform Version of the Static Eliminator that you are using.

You can switch between "AUTO" and "ON" with the Static elimination switch:
AUTO*: Allows you to adjust the static elimination settings for each paper type from the control panel
ON: Allows you to adjust the static elimination settings in with the conventional way, using the setting dials

You can switch between "ON" and "OFF":
ON: Enables you to remove static using the Static elimination rollers
OFF: Disables the use of the Static elimination rollers, and static is not removed
