The printer must be connected to the Internet.

The following resources are required to install Cloud Connector to a multifunction printer.

Cloud Connector cannot be used in conjunction with the Department ID Management function of a multifunction printer. For print jobs, the multifunction printer cannot identify the department IDs of print jobs from Cloud Connector. For scan jobs, operation problems may occur when the scan count reaches the upper limit, because Cloud Connector does not support the scan count restriction function of Department ID Management.

Web browser (Remote UI configuration screen)

The Remote UI configuration screen of Cloud Connector is displayed from a server on the Internet. Make sure to access it from a PC connected to the Internet.

E-mail Environment

When using the Email print or Email scan function, attachments are sent and received via the Internet. The Email print or Email scan function may not be available in environments where the external sending and receiving of attachments is restricted for security reasons.
