When the Cut Surface of the Printed Media Is Dirty
If the cut surface of the printed media ejected to the STM stack tray is dirty, perform the required measures according to the position of the dirt.
If the lead edge of the media is dirty in a position matching the printed image (when the length of the media in the transport direction is 354 mm (13.94") or shorter)
Performing the following measures may alleviate the symptom.
When performing 1-sided printing with the printed side output face up, switch to face down output.
When performing 2-sided printing, consider changing the orientation or layout of the printed image.
If the tail end of the media is dirty in a position about 50 mm to 60 mm (1.97" to 2.36") to the far side from the center
Contact your maintenance representative or service representative. Request the representative to clean the STM registration rollers.
