When the Printed Media Deforms/Jams in the STM Top Tray
Implementing a remedy according to the type of media enables you to reduce deforming and prevent the problem.
For low rigidity media
When ejecting media with low rigidity to the top tray, stackability may be adversely affected by curling in the tail end of the printed media.
In this case, consider the following measures.
Consider changing the setting for whether the media is output with the printed side facing up or down, or changing the orientation of the printed image.
Change the output destination to the stack tray.
For high rigidity media
Leaving the printed media stacked in the top tray may cause paper jams due to contact between the printed media and the output slot.
In this case, remove the printed media before it contacts the roller of the output slot.
