[Volume Settings] and [Other Volume Settings] Screens

On the [Home] screen of the control panel, press [Volume Settings] or [Volume Settings] [Other Volume Settings] to display the screen.
You can adjust the volume of sounds that notify you of operations and statuses, such as when you use the control panel or when errors are detected.
Press [] or [] to adjust the volume.
The volume increases when you move the slider to the right.
The sound is muted if you move the slider to the far left.
[Entry Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when you press the keys and buttons on the control panel.
[Invalid Entry Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when you perform an invalid key operation, such as entering a value outside the setting range.
[Restock Supplies Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when the amount of remaining toner is low.
[Forgot Original Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when the original is left on the platen glass.
[Error Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when a paper jam, misoperation, or other problem occurs with the machine.
[Job Done Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when an operation such as copying or scanning is completed.
[Sleep Mode Tone] and [Energy Saver/Sleep Tone]
Adjust the volume of the following sounds:
Sound emitted when the machine enters Sleep Mode
Sound emitted when the machine is turned OFF while Quick Startup is enabled
* The machine does not emit this sound if it is turned OFF in a situation that does not allow it to start up quickly next time, even if Quick Startup is enabled.
[Login Tone]
Adjust the volume of the sound emitted when a user logs in.
NOTE
The machine emits sounds according to the [Entry Tone] and [Invalid Entry Tone] settings, even when you enter characters using a USB keyboard connected to the machine.
