<Use as USB Device>

<Preferences> <External Interface> <USB Settings>You can set whether to use the machine as a USB device.

If this is set to <Off>, print jobs from a computer connected via USB cable cannot be performed. Changes in settings are effective after performing <Apply Set. Changes> on the <Home> screen. |

Depending on the type of MEAP application that uses USB external memory device, you may need to set this to <On>. To check whether you need to set this to <On>, see the manual for the MEAP application you are using, or contact your dealer or service representative. |
