Specifying a PS Password
You can specify the password that restricts the use of the control command prepared by the PS printer.

[SystemParams Password] is a password that allows changes to the system parameter, and [StartJob Password] is a password that allows startjob or exitserver operator to perform. For more information, check PostScript language specifications. |
1.
Select [Set] on the [Home] screen.
2.
Select [Function Settings] → [Printer] → [PS Password Settings].
3.
Select [SystemParams Password] or [StartJob Password] → enter each password.
If [StartJob Password] is set but [SystemParams Password] is not set, password check will not be performed while performing startjob or exitserver operator.
Press
