Method for Sending Device Information to Remote Monitoring Server

When installing this software, either HTTPS or SMTP can be selected as the protocol to use for communication with the remote monitoring software.
When HTTPS is selected as the protocol for communication with the Remote Monitoring Server
Two modes can be selected after this software is installed.
CCA Mode
The Cloud Connection Agent in the device sends device information to the Remote Monitoring Server with the HTTPS protocol via this software. This software operates as a proxy server. In the device list of this software, [CCA] is displayed in the [Monitoring Method] field of devices managed with this method.
However, when a device does not have this function, this software retrieves information from the device and sends the retrieved information to the Remote Monitoring Server via HTTPS. In the device list of this software, [Polling] or [Polling (CCA)] is displayed in the [Monitoring Method] field of devices managed with this method.
Standard Mode
This software retrieves information from the device and sends the retrieved information to the Remote Monitoring Server via HTTPS, regardless of whether the devices for monitoring have the Cloud Connection Agent function.
When SMTP is selected as the protocol for communication with the Remote Monitoring Server
This software retrieves information from the device and sends the retrieved information to the Remote Monitoring Server via SMTP. This is the same method as version 1.1.0 of this software.

Example of Operation

The number of devices that can be monitored with a single computer depends on the method for sending data to the Remote Monitoring Server. When the number of monitored devices exceeds the upper limit, install this software to multiple computers and ensure that each instance of the software does not exceed the upper limit of monitored devices. For details, see the following.
