Exporting the Settings of the RDS Plug-in

When migrating from the iW Management Console RDS Plug-in, you can import a settings file exported from the RDS Plug-in to this software in order to carry over the following information of the RDS Plug-in.
Proxy settings (for the RDS Plug-in (HTTP))
E-mail transmission settings (for the RDS Plug-in (SMTP))
RDS ID
The following information of managed devices
Device ID
MAC addresses
IP addresses or host names
SNMP community name
NOTE
When a file exported from the RDS Plug-in (SMTP) is imported to the HTTP version of this software, the proxy settings are not imported.
When a file exported from the RDS Plug-in (HTTP) is imported to the SMTP version of this software, the e-mail transmission settings are not imported.

Exporting Settings from the RDS Plug-in

Export a settings file from the iW Management Console RDS Plug-in.

Log in to iW Management Console as the RDS Plug-in administrator.

Display the export screen.
When Exporting Settings from the RDS Plug-in (HTTP)
Select [e-Maintenance (HTTP)] > [Configuration (Service Representative Only)] > [Export (Service Representative Only)].
When Exporting Settings from the RDS Plug-in (SMTP)
Select [e-Maintenance (SMTP)] > [Configuration (Service Representative Only)] > [Export (Service Representative Only)].

Click [Export].
Follow the instructions on the screen to save the file.

Select [Configuration] > [Common Settings] > [System Configuration].

In the [Optional Plug-in] list, click [Stop] for the RDS Plug-in.
IMPORTANT
Make sure to stop the RDS Plug-in after exporting the settings. If you start operating this software with the RDS Plug-in running, data will be duplicated because it will be sent from both.
