Supported Devices

This section describes the supported devices for the font management functions and color management functions of the GUI version and the supported devices for the command line version of Font Manager and Color Manager.

Font Management Functions (GUI) / Font Manager (CUI)

Devices with PostScript and PCL

NOTE
Devices with the box function are supported, as fonts/macros are saved in a box. Devises with a PS print server attached are not supported. This software supports Multi Function Printers and Printers that have a PDL download function. However, the downloading of fonts using the LPR protocol is not supported. This software does not distinguish between color macros and black-and-white macros. Therefore, it can install color macros to black-and-white devices and black-and-white macros to color devices.
