This Software

This software is an application for managing device fonts/macros and ICC profiles.

Two versions of this software are available: a Windows GUI version and a command line version.

GUI Version

The GUI version of Resource Manager has font management functions and color management functions.

Differences between the GUI Version and Command Line Version

With the GUI version, you can only operate (install or delete) one resource for one device at a time. For example, with a single operation, you can delete one font installed in one device.

With the command line version, you can perform batch operations for multiple devices or multiple resources. For example, you can install all the files with the ".ttf" extension in a specific directory to multiple devices.

When using the GUI version to register a macro created in a printer driver, you can specify a macro number. When using the command line version to register a macro, an unused macro number is automatically assigned.

With the GUI version, you can specify a symbol set ID when registering a PCL font. With the command line version, you cannot specify a symbol set ID.

With the GUI version, you cannot back up device ICC profiles. With the command line version, you can back up device ICC profiles.

With the GUI version, you cannot check the information of ICC profiles on a computer. With the command line version, you can check the information of ICC profiles on a computer.
